Do's and Don'ts

~ always burn your candle within sight. do not burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.

~ keep burning candles away from flammable materials, children and pets.

~ do not light on or near any objects that can catch fire, and do not place on or near other heat sources.

~ burn candle on heat resistant surfaces only.

How to fix tunneling

if your candle starts to tunnel (major wax hang up on side of jar), your wick can have troubles staying lit. if it hasn't gone too far - oftentimes it can be fixed.

how? use a butter knife to carefully take out the tunnelling wax to level out the surface.

ps: the container will be warm to touch when candle is lit

Hot Tip

if you think you've over trimmed the wick, use a butter knife to scrape out a bit of wax directly underneath the wick and relight with a bbq lighter.
